Impact.Edition is an award-winning independent nonprofit publication built on a simple belief: meaningful work is often overlooked because too few people know it exists. Unlike a commercial publication, Impact.Edition exists to serve the community, not generate profit. Donations, grants, and partnerships fund independent storytelling and bring greater visibility to people and organizations making South Florida stronger, more just, and more sustainable. Instead of focusing only on what is broken, Impact.Edition reports on solutions—what is working, who is making it happen, and what could help that work grow. Since its founding, it has featured more than 350 ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Its stories explore climate action, social justice, environmental sustainability, the circular economy, zero waste, and the protection of our oceans and waterways. The work goes far beyond the page. Through its Who Is Miami outdoor storytelling campaigns, Walk the Talk series, live readings, and community events, Impact.Edition brings these stories into public spaces and creates opportunities for readers and changemakers to meet, exchange ideas, and take action together. Every contribution supports nonprofit journalism and helps more important local stories be seen, heard, and shared.
